There is a Bosch check valve already screwed into the outlet, if you leave it in you need to run a banjo fitting off it as it has a tapered thread. It is quite common for people to remove the check valve and screw an adaptor straight into the outlet. If you do this, you will need to put an aftermarket check valve inline to keep fuel pressure in your fuel lines.
